The decor was set with shades of pink and white. The cozy atmosphere of M5250 in the galleria was set up to welcome the ladies to a sweet girl’s night out.
Recreate your own balloon ceiling with a portable helium tank, curling ribbon and a mix of 12inch and 17inch white and pink latex balloons. I stayed with the standard Valentine’s colors of pink and white but splashes of red would look just as festive!
We kept it simple with finger food spread. One of my favorite pieces I’ve added to my hostessing collection is this Vintage Glory Beverage Dispenser. It was the perfect feminine touch for a signature drink for the event. Speaking of signature drink….check out the SIMPLE recipe below:
“The Pink Pineapple”
1 quart of raspberry lemonade
1 bottle of Sprite (2 liter) or 1 bottle of bubbly (Le Grand Courtage)
1 Pineapple – Slice and pour into container (along with juices)
Mix all your ingredients and depending on if you are going bubbly or mock bubbly select either the Sprite or Le Grand Courtage. Garnish with some pineapple slice and enjoy!
After the munching was done, we transitioned to a private cookie decorating course by Tudor House Cookies. Jacqueline is so talented! She took us step by step on different decorating techniques. The ladies polka dotted, swirled and “botoxed” our heart and lip cookies. You never know how hard a steady hand is until you have to follow a cookie outline.
We might not have been experts at decorating our cookies, but we are experts on having a great time.
Always planning and looking for an excuse for ladies to get together, laugh and eat in a beautiful atmosphere. Would love for you join me at the next Toast & Twirl Workshop!
Be sure to save these images on your PINTEREST board for more ideas – would love for you to follow me also…see you over there!
